drive/clutch belts

I replaced my clutch belt and my drive belt on a '99 Home Depot Yard Man 42" riding mower. But I don't know how to replace two springs, one larger than the other. Also the tensioner for the rear belt doesn't have any tension on it and I cant figure where a spring can be hooked to for there to be any tension. Thank you,
