Hi My Kenmore dishwasher is leaking where the inlet hose attaches to and enters the tub. It is spraying water when ever the inlet valve trys to put water in the tub. There appeard to be a purpose built air gap? were the fitting put water into the tub. Wondering if I seal the gap up will it affect the operation of the washer. It it an anti-siphon feature?
