BATTERY ACID stains in the new pool! Please help!!

I just walked out to the pool and noticed my son had thrown batteries in the pool. They may have been there 2 - 3 days. There are huge rust colored stains on the bottom of the pool and it was just replastered 2 months ago! Please let me know if there is anything I can do :(
