my question is how to remove caulking. I just had some new moldings instatlled and the walls we have are not all even. It was suggested that we caulk the molding and then repaint the molding. My husband used the wrong type of caulk, the kind that you can't paint over. Is there a way to get the excess off with out haveing to sand it? Sanding is taking forever and I Need to get through. Prior to this I had pained the molding and ceiling a off white satin. but the caulking is silcone and shiny. So it looks terrible.
