Get off the coast!!! I have been through a 3 and a 5. Best Advice, seek shelter away from any objects that might crush your shelter, such as trees and towers. Buy sevwal rolls of poly now to protect your home and keep the rain out for the weeks after the storm has passed. Get your hands on as much cash as possible. Money talks after a storm such as this and credit cards will not do any good if there is no power. Try to format a plan to contact relatives after the storm. The worst feeling is not knowing if your family is safe.
We are a very resiliant country and it is amazing how bounce back after a natural disaster. Your neighbors will pull together with you and help in any way they can.
