Please Help!! I have an old house with plaster walls. The kitchen wall which is on the back of the house keeps repeatedly cracking and peeling. It goes down to a gray layer of the plaster in some areas but in others it goes only to a yellow? layer (? oilbased paint??) I have patched these areas repeatedly with joint compound and fiberglass mesh tape, then used primer and repainted but they keep bubbling up, cracking, and peeling. I am desperate to find a fix that will last or to know if tiling over these areas after scraping will work??
