I have been reading all the articles about the close calls to buying a water softner and the people who did fall for it. We recently fell for the presentation and we are looking for a way out! We had our water softner installed about two weeks ago; we are a young couple who just moved into a new house. We cannot afford this system and would like any advice about getting out of this deal. We already had a plumber look at the system, and he told us there wasn't anything we could do because the installation looked good to him. Please help!
