Earlier this year we had a really bad odor in our basement. We assumed that it was our cat, who has a nasty habit of urinating on beds, carpets because of territory issues. However, we have shampooed the basement carpets and deoderized the area completely. We have also kept the cat out of the basement and still the odor persists. Could it be mold for the foundation walls? The basement was finished 8 years ago in a 12 year old house. HELP!!!
