Garage ceiling insulation...

OK here's the deal. The attic space above my garage is not insulated on the floor (but it is over the rest of the house). My garage gets VERY hot in the summer (I live in Florida).
If I insulate the floor of the attic over my garage, will that help keep the garage cooler (generally speaking)? Was this post helpful? Yes: or No:
