I recently purchased a home (not as-is) and since settlement, have encountered several serious issues. I never got a disclosure statement on the home. WHen I read the "PA disclosure law" is seemed that an experts opinion could substitute for the disclosure statement. However, my inspectors report clearly states that is is not a substitute for disclosure as required by law. Is anyone familiar with this stuff? Can I go back to the seller for these problems? (asbestos chimney, leaking exterior walls?)
