painting aluminum gutters and downspouts

I would welcome any advice about painting aluminum gutters and downspouts to match the color of wood trim on my house -- I've been told not to do this, since there will be poor adhesion and peeling. Any recommendations? Thanks, Jane Was this post helpful? Yes: or No:
