to unregistered Diane: you may notice that "factory trained" is conspicious in his absence. He is just a bonehead who doesn't know anything about the product. As I said in a previous post, were he a true technician, he might be able to shed some light on some of the rampant problems that all these Maytag owners are experiencing. Instead, he exposes his ignorance, in capital letters no less. As one of the other posts said "...I thought I'd be buying my last washing machine..." The thought was because of the quality associated with the high cost, but alas, it will be my last Maytag forever because Maytag cannot build enough quality anything to undo the damage that their Neptune line has done to their product credibility.
