The PVC main to the house joints at a 3/4 copper pipe by a female PVC coupling and a male copper coupling. This PVC coupling is now cracked and water is leaking. Can I fix this leak at the cracked PVC coupling by sliding in a new PVC female coupling.
My main concern is about the end of PVC pipe, does it have a sleeve or something to prevent leak or an O ring that comes with with the female PVC coupling.
I do not want to disturb the joint unless I am sure I can do the job myself.
