It would be best to go to the Kohler site and see a parts breakdown. There are three parts of a faucet that needs repair, the washer, the seat that the washer goes against and the stem packing or O ring seal.
Leaking around the handle is the stem packing and leaking out the spout is the washer seat combination.
Challenges are getting the handles off. Some times you have to use a handle puller. Then you may need a set of deep set tub sockets to get back into the wall to remove the stem body.
