Jeff, In my experience in power tools it is not a wise decsion to buy a reconditioned tool. You don't know what had gone wrog with it and you get a limited warantee. My Porter-Cable 12 volt with 2 batt. charger and case was 179.99 at home depot last year. This drill has been to hell and back tons of times, and still operates like bran new. It also came with a full lifetime warantee for parts, and 1 year for labor. A dill will last for a good amount of time why not spend the extra fifty bucks and get yourself a NEW drill.
