I have installed literally dozens of fans with no problems. Tried to install a Hampton Bay remote control fan today. WHERE in the heck do you mount the transmitter ??? It WILL NOT fit into the junction box with a "close ceiling type mount. It does NOT fit inside the top of the fan, or mount will not work. After reading all the threads about the problems encountered, it's on it's way back to Home Depot. Instructions for transmitter mount is one quarter inch picture, obviously printed by illiterate Chinese. Back to Hunter fans for me...
