steam radiator shut off valve

Posted by hlugo3 on October 6th, 2004 10:08 AM

i am trying to replace shut off knob on the radiator in my bedroom, while doing this the screw holding the broken knob on broke off. its a very thin small screw and i dont think i can extract it. i think i probably have to replace the entire pipe from the floor to the radiator, is there an easier solution considering all i really need replaced is the knob to shut off the supply to the radiator?
