usually you can fix it but we need to know brand and type like moen single handle and such.usually it needs washers,o rings or stem cartridge,seats and springs,or something like that.turn off the water and see if you can take it apart.don't start a plumbing job after the plumbing stores close.notice i said plumbing store and not home depot.
