Thanks a lot for the advice. Once I knew where to look I have been able to get lots of choices, both for our Ipe deck and our floors. We did Birch with mahogany plugs, and oak with oak plugs. Since we did a nice tile and board pattern with the oak the oak plugs were used to hide the holes and it looks incredible. The drill bit and counter bore were an excellent choice, although I wore out several bits on the Ipe deck!!
