I'm having a little problem figuring out what the correct ceiling fan size is to put up in two of the rooms in my house. One of the rooms I'm putting a fan in is 13'-11" x 14'-8" x 8' ceiling. The other room is 13' x 12'-8" x 9' ceiling. The fans that I bought are a 42" and a 52". I got the 42" fan with 42" blades and the 52" fan with 52" blades. I'll be putting the smaller fan in the smaller room and the other in the larger room. I originally had installed a 52" fan in the smaller room, but it really (in my opinion) looked out of place in there. I thought it just looked too big.
Anyway, feel free to let me know if you would go with the fans that I have or if you would use different fans with different size blades. Any professional fan installers here (who do this for a living)???
