We are building a log home and are getting close to the interior finish work. We will be using 1x6 T&G aspen in the vaulted ceing with cedar stained spruce beams. These are decorative and not load bearing. The center beam is a 6x8. The side beams are 6x6. Will we hang the beams first before T&G aspen or do we hang them afterward. Thanks for any help.
