We are having a ridge vent installed (Florida) on our new roof. I notice that there is no screening under the vent over the opening to the attic. Yes, there are louvers in the vent but I'm concerned over dry wood termites entering into the house through these louvers as there is no screen to deny access. Is this a needlesss worry? Help-the roofer is here now!! Thanks
