I have a cedar roof on my home that needs to be replaced. I live in a anal retentive developement and they will not let me replace it with architectural shingles - They want wooden shakes.
I was out west a few years back and saw some homes being built with a synthetic (cedar looking) shake. Does anyone know anything about these? Where can I find them?
