We're trying to renovate an older bathroom. The angle of the low ceiling requires that the shower stall be placed on the wall that has the only window in the room. We plan to custon-build the shower stall and leave the window in place - though it does not need to function (it's a double-hung wooden window, 24" high, 30" wide). Privacy is not an issue, either. How can we protect the window from water damage from the shower and avoid any other leaks? We think ceramic tile will be our choice of material, unless another material would be better for the window solution. Thanks in advance.
