How much support does a gas drop-in range require? I am removing the facings and doors from a cabinet to replace surface units with a drop in range. I am leaaving the cabinet floor in place to accomodate the range. I believe the floor is 1/2 inch plywood. Is this trong enough to support it, or do I need to shore it up from underneath? Any other advice for this project will be appreciated.
