Are you referring to an actual leak at the registers, or do you just mean that condensation is dripping out of them? Carbon monoxide is odorless and a foul smell is not indicative of a CO leak. That said, it is a good practice to hire a HVAC professional to inspect and service your heating system prior to the heating season. This will help keep the system operating properly and assure you of a safe firebox.
