No Combo Cement

The reason that plumbing codes do not approve the combination cements is that they do not penetrate the piping material and make a secure joint. They stick for awhile but break apart. For vents it will allow the stink to get out even when the fitting appears to be connected. When you do sell the structure it's likely to be noted by a home inspector and the correction would need to be made at that time.
