Painting textured round corners

Posted by wannabefixitgirl on November 24th, 2004 01:54 PM

We have curved walls and textured walls/ceilings that I want to paint. I did this in one room already and had to take a very small brush and fill in & even out all the little nooks and crannys to make the lines smooth. Talk about a back ache!

Someone told me they put a bead of caulk in the corner all the way down and this allowed them to paint & achieve a smooth interface as the caulk "levels" the textured bumps.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this and know what type of caulk/alternative to use, or any specific directions?

Many thanks.
