In reply to Installing a basement bathroom, how? by Dan on November 12th, 1998 05:37 AM [Go to top of thread]

I am remodeling our basement. In order to give more leg room for the toilet, I need to rotate it's base 90 degrees to the left towards a different wall and move it backabout 5 inches. What would be the easiest way to attach the sewer down line to the bottom of the toilet with that type of move? Cutting into the concrete and reattaching joints further down the existing pipe or building a small box to allow an angled joint to be installed without cutting?
What is the most extreme joint angle recommended for the later?
Thank you
