Bob,
We purchased a home that has a fireplace. the inside of the homes fireplace is in cement blocks. the outside is done except for some decorative rocks that still need attached at the top. there is no mantel and the place where you would set is open cement blocks. someone said we need an incert before we can finish it. i say we need some guideance. i think we only need a mantel, hearth, and to cover up the open cement blocks with something to you can sit on. please help...
