In reply to Craftsman Industrial Toolbox Lifetime Warranty by Just Thrilled on February 15th, 2003 12:03 PM [Go to top of thread]

On that nice expensive Professional toolbox... There is a life time warranty. Only it doesn't cover anything except the ballbearings in the drawer mechanism. Believe me, I sold tools for Sears for 4 years in college. I've seen it all when it comes to hardware, lawn & garden, Paint & plumbing, and sporting goods. As a result (I might add) I no longer shop at Sears or buy craftsman products (I go for Snap-on, Mac, or Wright for any hand tools). I tend to stick with Milwaukee for power tools. I do admit that all my large bench tools are either Craftsman or Delta and I wouldn't swap a single one. But I got all those from my Grandpa (and he bought all of 'em before 1960). So listen to me, or not. It's your money, and your life.
