Hello, I have a log home w/tongue and groove pine in my great area w/ a cathedral ceiling. the home has ridge vent and soffit. also looks like it was vented correctly w/ some sort of styrofoam baffle to give some air space and then insulation. I am still getting ice damming in my ceiling and then dripping through the tongue and groove when it thaws. Builder checked to make sure the ridge vent was free and clear and all is ok w/it. Do not keep the home humid. The builder does not know where the problem exists and am getting close to putting on a whole new roof (only 2 years old). Any help would be appreciated. thanks.
