i have a preway fireplace and the top of the chimmeny cap which was connecteed to a rim with a net fell to the ground.
i asked local chimmeny sweepers who advised me that they have to come to my house for $100.00 check the chimmeny sizes and probably build a special order chimmeny cap for the fireplace since it is out of business which might cost me from $150.00 to $700.00.
they advised me to look toward more than $500.00 plus the $100.00 first visit.
can somebody tell me how to get a better way than the above?
