we have a very old house that had water damage to the plaster walls. previous renters had all the walls professionaly wall papered. it looks very nice but the wallpaper is very dark, very bold and wild print. we will be living there until our new house can be built. we do not want to wallpaper over this but instead would like to paint over this. we know it is not recommended but in some places the wallpaper is holding the plaster together!!!! This is a temporary old house to live in but want to make it livable for the time being. Far into the future we now there will be some major remodeling but need advice for temporary living.
