If you have St. Charles cabinetry you have probably found out how well made they are. I was fortunate enough to acquire a few pieces from a Kitchen Designer that had them on his floor and priced them to move a few years back. He told me he later regretted selling me them. I remember him telling me that the company went out of business and it was unfortunate because they did have true quality that you don't find that often. I can see from what I have I only wished all my cabinetry was like the few pieces I have. If I were you and you don't think you can fix/restore what you have go with true custom cabinetry and not semi-custom. Finding quality workmanship will take some searching too. Hope things work out and you make the right decision.
