Removing toilet bowl flange

I'm re-tiling ny bathroom floor and want to remove the old toilet bowl flange attached to the floor. It appears to be soldered to the elbow in the floor floor drainwhich appears to be lead. How do I remove the flange without damaging the lead drain pipe?
