Terrazzo Staining

Kclick, The white cementious part of the Terrazzo will take up the stain, but not the marble particles. The cementious part will take, but it will more than likely turn out a bright, brilliant color, which might not be what you're looking for.
Another way that we've changed the color of the white cementious part, is use liquid color pigments. You would first need to remove any wax coatings, with an amonniated wax stripper, then acid etch the surface with a 10 to 1, muratic acid to open up the pores.
Afterwards, mix up your color of choice, with very little water, apply it to the floor, then burnish it in with a buffer and a black pad, till you start seeing the cementious part take up the color, then rinse with just plain water, and vaccumm it up.
Once the floor is completely dry, you can then apply a high solids Terrazzo wax, and you're finished changing it from plain white, to a more accenting color. Hope this info helps
