If it's going on for hours after use then it would seem to indicate the loose washer syndrome. Although the fill valve is the first culprit it also applies to the faucet supply shut offs. The push on washers are particularly sensitive to this. Identifying the right one can be a challenge. It can be a faucet shut off even if it is the shower that is used because demand off the pipe will lessen the pressure to other fixture supplies.
I would shut off the faucet supplies to see if the noise stops. If not then I would look to repair the shower valve. It has washers or something similar that can vibrate also.
