I am remodeling my house and have a bedroom above a supporting wall I would like to remove. I am considering alot of options, but would like to go with a homemade beam consisting of 2 2x12's with 1/2" plywood in between. The span is 14 to 15 feet. I am wondering if you guys think this is enough. Let me know. Thanks
