Diamond grinding a terrazzo floor -- good idea? Posted by Loren Strand on May 31st, 2000 08:33 AM
I have a terrazzo floor in good condition yet it has a dull, flat look so I am considering having the terrazzo floor finished professionally. One company is really pushing diamond grinding the surface with finer and finer grits. They claim it will leave a high gloss finish that protects the floor and lasts for years. They claim a sealant after the grinding is not necessary. Help? Is this too good to be true? What's the truth on diamond grinding and the results? Should I consider other methods that would give a better result? Thanks in advance for a response. Regards, Loren
