Overheating motor?

** I have a Kenmore 20 yr old electric dryer. It will start fine for first load. But when Dryer is stopped to check clothes it will not start again. Once the dryer has cooled down again it will start fine. Any ideas what is wrong? **

That's a classic symptom of the dryer motor overheating and cutting out on its internal overload protector. That could be caused by the motor being plugged with lint hampering air movement through it or just the motor being defective (which is common on all ages and makes of dryers).
