Sears Homes in the South

Someone posted a thread a few months ago about a Sears Home in South Carolina. I've not done much research in the South, but I do know that Sears homes were sold in all 48 states.
And - as a native of Virginia, I was happily surprised to find a gazillion Sears kit homes in the commonwealth, with a bunch in the Norfolk/Portsmouth/Suffolk area.
There's also a Sears Magnolia (their FANCIEST HOME) in Alabama. So - there are Sears Homes in the south.
