Water pooling in garage

My house has an attached two-car garage. In the center of the garage is a floor drain that is supposed to collect water. However, all of the water runs towards the back and sides of the garage. This is especially a problem in the winter months when the snow melts off of the cars. The water pools along the edges of the garage and I have noticed that the drywall is starting to absorb the water.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do to help eliminate the drainage/polling problem?
