i work at a 'home hardware' and a customer came in asking about a suspended ceiling system he saw on tv. instead of having an inverted 't' that the panels sit on, you have a 'regular t' attached right to say the joist system, and when you put the panels in, you snap a trim onto the bottom of the 't' and that trim holds the panels up. you can still remove the panels, but it elimanates the need to leave those 3-6" above the 't's to install the panels. has anyone heard of this type of ceiling?, where can i find more info on it?
