Now that I've realized I need to insulate the ducts running in my basement I went to Home Depot to price the insulation. It's expensive for all that I'll need! I mean about $700 worth of materials. Would it make sense to pay someone to use sticky blow on insulation or would that create too much of a mess? I'm picturing 55 gallon drums of the foam in the can stuff sprayed on my ducts. I guess the fumes would dissipate quickly. Is it worth calling an insulation contractor?
