Seal all holes!

* Seal all holes. If the holes are small, use a foam spray out of am aerosol can, that should do the job.
* Where there used to be a window and it's not well sealed? Seal it, brick it up, but stop that pneumonia hole!
* Once you've sealed all sources of drafts, put a 1500 Watt, 110 volt oil heater in the basement, unless you have a funace in the basement, that should take care of keeping the basement above freezing.
* Move to south Texas, it never freezes..
