If your floor is on 16 inch joist centers, the 1/2 + 3/4 = 1 1/4 inch you have down now should be plenty of support.
I would put down 1/4 inch cement board over that if needed to build up the height. Then put your ceramic tile down over that. I assume you are talking ceramic tile, not vinyl.
I don't know about letting the treated plywood dry out. I suspect that would be the best, but I don't know how long that would take, or if you can wait that long. The plywood will shrink as it drys, but the cement board will help stabilize the tile. If possible, I would let the subfloor dry a couple of weeks.
