whirlpool washer problem?

When I try to Wash a load of clothes at start of cycle the washer does not fill,it starts in the wash cycle and goes through the normal cycles and doesn't rinse when its going through the rinse cycle, I replaced the inlet valve and still have the same problem. I have 2 of these washers thats done this same thing. Can you Diagnose this problem.
