Built-in book shelves for living room space

I need some help with completing a book built-in book shelf unit in my living space. My wife's and I books have been sitting in boxes in my brother's basement for over a year. The house that we purchased about over a year ago was a fixer upper, which I did most of the work myself. I am not a contractor, but had no choice to do most of the renovating(new walls, ceilings, bathroom, painting, finished wood floors, etc.) due to our finances. We've moved in for about 8 months now, but our books have no home. Please help! My wife is in her first year of medical residency, and she works an overwhelming amount of hours. She is unable to go into her library and pick a book to read in her limited times of relaxation. Anything you will be able to do to help would be greatly appreciated.
