Kenmore Range -oven not working- Posted by kingfisher98106 on February 4th, 2005 03:17 PM
We have a Kenmore Range (one of the infamous 911 models!) where the top burners work fine, but the oven does not. The clock/timer pad completely died. We used the oven to make supper and the next morning the clock display was flashing and we would set the clock and after a certain period of time it would flash again. Finally, I decided to turn off the clock/timer display all together by following the intructions in the manual - "press the clock pad once". Is there something that I did by blanking out the clock that affected the oven? We tried to reset the oven by unplugging it from the wall as well as unplugging the display power cable from the clock/timer computer panel and it cooked one more meal for us, but then it finally gave up the ghost once again?!? Is there anything we can do to fix the oven by ourselves or should we call a repairman? Was this post helpful? Yes: or No:
